Steel 1008 is an American standard steel number, which is a low-carbon high-quality carbon structural steel, equivalent to the national standard 08 steel, with an average carbon content of 0.08%, (0.05 ~ 0.11%); C1008 steel is an extremely soft carbon steel, which has a very strong Low, but extremely tough and plastic, with good deep drawing, drawing, bending and upsetting and other cold workability, welding properties. However, there is aging sensitivity, and the hardenability and hardenability are extremely low. C1008 steel is mainly used for rolling into high-precision thin plates or for manufacturing deep-drawn or deep-drawn covering parts and welded components that are easy to form and have low strength. |
