PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) has the strongest toughness, low friction coefficient, strong corrosion resistance, aging resistance, weather resistance and radiation resistance in fluoroplastics. A fluorinated resin that can be injected and extruded (commonly known as thermoplastic Teflon). High mechanical strength and toughness. Weather resistant, UV resistant and nuclear radiation. Good heat resistance and high dielectric strength. PVDF plastic has a machining cost factor of 0.7 when compared to steel 12L14.
