PTJ Shop has a reputation for machining quality parts from Greek Ascoloy. We can machine intricate parts on our CNC Swiss machines and CNC turning centers. Greek Ascoloy is an alloy steel with high strength and good chemical stability at high temperatures. Greek Ascoloy generally requires better chemical stability and oxidation resistance, but with lower loads. Greek Ascoloy is commonly used in the manufacture of high temperature parts in boilers, steam turbines, power machinery, industrial furnaces, and aerospace and petrochemical industries. In addition to high temperature strength and high temperature oxidation resistance, these components require sufficient toughness, good processability and weldability, and certain structural stability depending on the application. Greek Ascoloy has a machining cost factor of 4.0 when compared to steel 12L14. It can be welded with most common methods. Greek Ascoloy can also be forged, annealed, tempered, and hardened. |
