How to make stamping auto parts?
Precision Stamping Parts In Automotive Industries.
At present, the manufacturing departments of many manufacturing enterprises adopt the OEM model, and they are the most famous in the field of design, development and sales of control products. The most famous one is the OEM between Apple and Foxconn. However, the traditional automobile industry still regards the manufacturing sector as the core competitiveness. There are still some differences between the manufacturing departments of different automobile companies, which reflects the differences between different products. In general, the car is manufactured by four processes of punching, welding, painting and final assembly. Today we will briefly introduce the stamping articles of the automobile manufacturing process. |
The stamping production process is a process of stamping a steel sheet into a body of a vehicle, that is, a body covering member and a structural member. Stamping is a traditional material forming process. With the development of the automotive industry, the stamping process is applied to the manufacturing industry on a large scale. The stamping process greatly improves the precision and efficiency of material forming. Take the automotive industry as an example. Stamping can punch one part every 5s, and the accuracy of parts can reach more than 95%.
The development of stamping technology depends on the advancement of mold technology. Since the 1960s, computer technology advancement and application in the manufacturing industry, computer aided systems such as CAD, CAE, CAM, etc., the development and manufacturing efficiency of automotive molds have been greatly improved. The machining precision of the large 5-axis machining center reaches 0.01mm, and the servo press also brings great convenience for mold debugging and part molding.
The stamping process for automotive parts generally includes four processes: a drawing process, a trimming process, a punching process, and a flanging process. Each process corresponds to a set of molds, sometimes in order to save costs, in order to make a set of molds for the subsequent trimming and punching process, it is compressed into three steps. The drawing process is a main forming process, and the main shape of the automotive parts is basically formed by the drawing process, and the part after the drawing is strengthened by deformation, and a certain strength and rigidity can be obtained. The trimming process is mainly to remove excess auxiliary materials such as drawbeads and process replenishing surfaces. As the name suggests, the punching process is a hole in the punching part. For some complicated inner door molds, the punching process may require more than 100 holes, which requires high precision and high process difficulty. The burring process is mainly to turn the edges around the parts for use in the post-bread process or subsequent assembly.
The stamping processes of major automobile companies are basically similar, except that the stamping techniques of different materials are different. At present, in the context of lightweight vehicles, aluminum bodies are being used by more and more car manufacturers. Due to the difference in performance of aluminum and steel materials, aluminum bodies have certain technical difficulties in stamping and forming, and automotive mold manufacturing also needs Do different surface treatments.
As a mature material forming process, automotive stamping technology has been widely used in the automotive industry and has made great contributions to the development of the automotive industry.
